What are the rules for the game of Hearts?

Rules

The goal for the game of hearts is to have the fewest number of points at the end of the game. Each player can develop a strategy that would work for them. The rules are important for the players of this game. Hearts count as points and so does the queen of spades. Each player is motivated to eliminate their hearts and the queen of spades so that they have the fewest points at the end of the hand. Combining hearts is important if you would like to run for all of the cards which means you acquire all the hearts and the queen of spades. This is an expert strategy that is used to dominate the game of hearts.

If four players are playing the game of hearts, they are each dealt 13 cards before the game begins. If three players are playing the game, the two of diamonds is removed from the deck and each player receives 17 cards each before the game begins. If there are five players, the two of clubs and the two of diamonds are removed from the deck and each player receives 10 cards each.

The suit played by the first player of each hand must be followed by each player. If a player does not have the suit that is led, he can choose to play any other card in his hand including a heart or the queen of spades. These points are counted as penalty points. The player that has the highest card from the initial suit led wins the trick and all penalty points. Points are added at the end of each hand and tabulated for each player.
